Goats Leap (Mekedatu) is located at a distance of 98km from the city of Bangalore and is located near the boundaries of Muggur forest. Belur temple is an ideal place for excursions; it is located in the district of Hassan in Bangalore. It is temple devoted to Lord Vishnu and architecture of this temple represents wonderful Indian architecture. Belur temple lowest level portrays elephants which represent “strength”. The next layer above these elephants portrays tigers which represent “daring” and the next layer portrays men on the horses which represent “speed”.
